Mustang Cheerleading Mission and Vision
Our mission is to inspire our student body and lead other students in supporting our athletic programs. We strive to be role models for others and demonstrate poise, kindness, leadership, and athleticism.
Our season is nearly year-round, starting with practices and camp in the Summer, cheering for football in the Fall, and supporting basketball in the Winter. Our vision is to keep school spirit and support first among our priorities, while also demonstrating our talent and skill at cheerleading exhibitions, community events, and FHSAA competitions in the future.

Meet the Coaching Staff:
Varsity - Alissa Kester
This is Coach Kester's second year coaching at Mandarin Cheerleading. She is so excited about the upcoming year and has a passion for growing the cheerleading program here at Mandarin. Coach Kester teaches Earth/Space Science and brings tons of enthusiasm and care to the classroom and coaching. She also cheered all through high school-and she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the team!

Junior Varsity - Nichole PowellMandarin cheerleading is very proud to announce the addition of our new JV coach, Nichole Powell! Originally a cheer coach for 6 years in Norfolk, VA, Nichole said goodbye to her high school and cheer gym there and moved to Jacksonville with her family of 5 kids and husband. She has coached cheerleading at both Providence and Landmark Middle Schools for the past 2 years. She will bring loads of experience and dedication to our squad this year. We look forward to seeing you at tryouts!
